I Hate Martha Stewart

Played my first game in Calgary at the Grey Eagle Casino and just a heads up if you ask your co-pilot to enter Eagle Ridge Casino in to the GSP they will not find it, although it is funny to watch especially when they believe you.

So the game is $105 and you start with 12,500 although I never even asked or counted the starting stack until about 5 minutes before the break and one person said it was 20k and another said 30k. The dealer ignored everyone so I figured it was in the middle at 25k.

All I knew for sure was that I got my Aces and Kings busted (aces -twice) and was tilting. My stack nearing break was 9,500 so I debated if I wanted to go all in and try to at least double up or re-buy (which is an option til end of break -- unlimited)

I decided to not re-buy and the dead cards dealt before break made it easy to fold and not tilt off my remaining chips. It was after the break ended when I found out what the starting stack was, so that made me feel better about not re-buying, I had won chips and lost some, but I wasn't out yet.

The players at my table were all boring as hell, we had a Mike Chan look alike (but with hair), a Ginger Cowboy (pretty sure he rode his horse to the game), Martha Stewart's Older Angry Sister, (man she was nasty) The Internet Player (who had his cell phone in his hand and a tablet on his lap), High School Kid (you can play at 18, I think he just turned it), Smelly Farmer (who came straight from the barn, you could small Betsy the cow) Drunk Regular Guy (who kept hiccuping) and Vancouver Marvin (he said where he was from and his name like 10 times in the first 30 minutes, nobody asked or acknowledged him)
Angry Martha cracked my first Aces, she was tilting from another hand and wanted to re-buy so she shoved all in pre-flop with none other than my 17th favorite hand (8/3 spades) and she ended up with two pairs  (turn/river)..I was pissed but I still had chips.

It was Vancouver Marvin who cracked my set of Kings, he was chasing a flush, which he also needed on the turn and river, but I am still alive with 9,500 before break. Oh did I mention is was Vancouver Marvin? LOL

After the break my game was about to end, three hands in and again I got Aces, low and behold Angry Martha was the one who took it down....she totally thought about it before she shoved pre-flop (like a good solid quiet 3 minutes) so I believed she has better than the 8/3 spades...WRONG

But being the lowest stack at the table and holding Aces I am going to call no matter what..

The B*tch turns over (throw up here) 7/2 off suit....

Yeah shut my mouth, (don't use my inner voice) and the guys at the table decide now is the time to come alive and start to talk...they were not impressed and I am assuming after I left that they took her down shortly thereafter, or I would hope so anyhow.

She ended up getting trip 2's. (cough cough WHORE)

That's my vent of the week.

Tammie

PS..71 players that night and they generally range between 70-90
